Key Responsibilities

  • Drive the successful transition from bid to project execution, ensuring timely delivery within scope, budget, and quality standards.
  • Define and maintain project baselines including requirements, execution plans, financial structures, and key decision data.

  • Lead project launch reviews, define execution baselines, and maintain alignment with stakeholders throughout delivery.
  • Conduct regular progress reviews with customers and senior management
  • Oversee a portfolio of strategic projects within an assigned customer account, ensuring consistent performance and alignment with business objectives.
  • Lead a small team of Project Managers and coordinate the project team between support functions (PMO, Legal, Procurement, Engineering, Services).
  • Deepen customer relationships to identify new opportunities, variation orders, and service offerings.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the customer, representing Thales's capabilities and driving account growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Project Management or any relevant discipline.
  • Proven and effective leadership with a high level of interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multi-disciplinary/multi-cultural teams across geographies and time zones.
  • Solid experience in project and programme management with at least 10 years of experience, ideally in a multi-national organisation and high-tech environment.
  • Basic project finance understanding.
  • Strong internal stakeholder management in a matrix organization.
  • Strong customer focus and external relationship management.
  • Organised and analytical, adept at working in a team environment and able to handle multiple priorities.
  • PMP Certification or equivalent (e.g. IPMA)
  • Self-motivated and comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a technical organization with a rapidly expanding customer base and new products
  • Ability to navigate complexity and ambiguity to make informed project decisions.
  • Collaborative and has excellent time management and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities is essential
