Key Responsibilities
- Apply industrial engineering concepts to model capacity thresholds supporting existing and future technology.
- Analyze all required scenario options, calling out opportunities and proposing options for better return scenarios.
- Collaborate with Central teams to plan capacity requirements for future products and quantify the impact on existing and future capital spend.
- Provide yellow field Cost of Transition (CoT) for each technode and analyze the correlation between theoretical vs. actual CoT.
- Define new technode CoT and understand the gap between budget vs. actual technode capex.
- Improve capital spend forecast accuracy through collaboration with Site Planning, Procurement, and Facilities.
- Monitor actual spend performance against projections for current and upcoming quarters with a target variance of < +- 5%.
- Develop capital-related dashboards for automated data visualization and in-depth analysis of site capital expenditure details.
Requirements
- Strong analytical thinking and ability to connect various information through structural data analysis.
- Deep understanding of capacity planning, business processes, and scenario loading/capital optimization.
- Ability to formulate effective loading proposals for upper management based on quantitative and qualitative analysis.
- Experience managing complex projects across several different departments and sites.
- Proficiency in scenario modeling using industrial engineering concepts.
- Ability to manage databases, maintain scenario ownership, and handle change control.
- Proven ability to analyze data to support critical financial decisions.
