Key Responsibilities
- Perform sophisticated electrical device characterization to determine electrical fail mechanisms.
- Operate fault isolation equipment to accurately narrow down failure defect locations.
- Conduct physical failure analysis to identify and classify physical defects.
- Establish and hypothesize potential electrical or process fail mechanisms based on detailed electrical fail models and physical failure analysis characterization.
- Collaborate with frontend, backend, and Global Quality (GQ) teams to address and resolve defectivity issues.
- Prepare and present comprehensive electrical and physical failure mechanisms on a weekly basis to drive continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement new fault isolation and physical failure analysis techniques.
- Coordinate the maintenance and high uptime of fault isolation and physical failure analysis tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Material Science.
- Proven experience as a great team player with outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong drive to excel in a fast-paced engineering environment.
- Excellent communication skills, including presenting complex information effectively in large meetings.
- Ability to support shift rotation as required to meet operational needs.
