Key Responsibilities
- Manage gas demand, LNG cargo scheduling, terminal/pipeline capacity, gas nominations, and LNG inventory.
- Develop forecasting tools and provide operational solutions to free tank capacity for short-term opportunities.
- Ensure full operational compliance with Shell’s internal standards, HSSE requirements, and all contractual/regulatory obligations (GSAs, TUA, TICA, SPA).
- Analyze buyers’ gas offtake and monitor nominations across all time horizons to optimize LNG inventory and cargo deliveries.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues across the LNG value chain, coordinating daily activities with internal and external parties.
- Provide operational input for new projects, contracts, and spot cargoes while managing nomination systems.
Requirements
- Knowledge of LNG industry concepts, Singapore’s gas/power market, and pipeline networks.
- Experience with Gas Sales Agreements (GSAs), LNG SPAs, Terminal Use Agreements (TUA), and the Singapore Gas Network Code.
- Strong commercial awareness of LNG trading, terminal operations, and inventory management.
- Advanced Excel proficiency with ability to manage and analyze large data volumes and complex IT systems.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent relationship management and communication skills with diverse stakeholders.
