Key Responsibilities
- Define and develop reliability stress, test flows, and test plans covering all Product Reliability aspects.
- Drive down Extrinsic Reliability (Time 0 and Field DPM) and Intrinsic Reliability through optimized Manufacturing Test Flows and Test Strategy to meet critical KPIs.
- Debug and identify root causes of reliability test failures in Qual and RMA devices using Electric Failure Analysis (EFA) and Physical Failure Analysis (PFA), driving resolutions through cross-functional collaboration.
- Provide recommendations to fab teams regarding new process conversions to reduce cost and increase yields, impacting product quality and reliability.
- Manage risks associated with DPM process conversions in consultation with Product Managers/Leads to balance innovation pace with stability.
- Promote innovation and drive technical changes that provide a competitive advantage for Micron in the HBM market.
- Mentor and develop team members, fostering growth within the organization.
Requirements
- Proven experience in reliability testing and failure analysis within advanced memory technologies (HBM preferred).
- Demonstrated ability to drive DPM reduction through process and test strategy optimization.
- Strong background in defining and executing complex reliability test flows for high-performance products.
- Proficiency in root cause analysis using advanced failure analysis techniques (EFA/PFA).
- Experience collaborating across manufacturing, quality, and product teams to drive process improvements.
- Ability to manage technical risks associated with manufacturing process conversions.
- Experience in a leadership or senior engineering role driving technical direction.
