Key Responsibilities
- Design, standardize, and implement complex test methodologies to validate Qualcomm chipsets and subsystems.
- Define test coverage strategy across functional, performance, stress, and corner conditions.
- Drive first silicon debug to qualify designs fabricated at external foundries.
- Perform technical data analysis of parametric performance and drive failure analysis to completion.
- Analyze high volume manufacturing yields and drive test time reduction.
- Support pre-silicon and post-silicon bring-up and identify gaps between expected and observed behavior.
- Debug test failures, analyze logs and waveforms, and identify root causes.
- Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and software teams to resolve issues impacting test or product readiness.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- 8+ years of Test Engineering or related work experience.
- Hands-on experience with Automated Test Equipment (ATE), preferably Advantest 93k.
- Strong skills for writing and developing/debugging test code and scripting competency in Java and Python.
- Knowledge of statistical concepts, analysis, and techniques.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and provide guidance to other team members.
- Experience in a technical leadership role with or without direct reports.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for working in a time-critical global environment.
