Key Responsibilities
- Manage facilities upgrades, engineering, and maintenance for all UPW Plants, Industrial Wastewater Plant, Fluoride Waste Treatment Plants, and water/wastewater reclaim systems.
- Lead and manage targets to achieve sustainability goals related to water and waste treatment systems.
- Drive continual improvement programs focused on system Quality and Reliability to ensure maximum uptime and minimal production impact.
- Ensure timely response to out-of-spec conditions or any system interruptions that affect production, followed by implementing improvement plans.
- Establish area budgets and manage all costs associated with maintenance and project activities, driving cost reduction programs.
- Lead all aspects of EHS for the section, ensuring compliance with regulations and promoting team safety standards.
- Benchmark Micron's operations against industry best practices to develop a world-class UPW/WW team.
- Manage various engineering databases supporting job tracking, capital equipment facilitation, and critical system loads.
Requirements
- Proven experience in managing Ultra-Pure Water (UPW) and Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) systems.
- Ability to lead engineering projects including upgrades, retrofits, expansion, and maintenance of water treatment systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills to identify root causes of issues and implement effective Corrective/Preventative Actions (CA/PA).
- Experience in managing operational budgets and controlling maintenance/project costs.
- Demonstrated commitment to EHS compliance and safety leadership.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with various departments and corporate groups.
