Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of technical officers in carrying out and/or supervising preventive and corrective maintenance works on SMRT power system equipment.
- Plan and execute maintenance schedules and staff duty rosters in consultation with EMM for maximum efficiency.
- Provide technical advice, information, and instructions to staff while ensuring all documentation (drawings, diagrams, manuals, records) is current.
- Assist EMM in conducting engineering and safety analyses, investigations, and tests.
- Supervise corrective maintenance, upgrading, modification, or repair work, and submit detailed completion reports.
- Adhere strictly to all safety procedures and attend Permit-To-Work / Permit-To-Access for work parties.
- Perform rotating shift duties and ensure daily compliance with Quality objectives.
Requirements
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution.
- 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical equipment.
- Ability to lead by example, communicate effectively, and work collaboratively in a team.
- Physically fit to climb staircases and ladders and stand for extended periods (up to 4 hours) during fault assessment.
- Ability to lift tools and equipment weighing up to 5kg.
