Key Responsibilities
- Operate Signal Measuring, Test Equipment, Instruments, and Tools safely and efficiently.
- Lead Technical Officers in performing tasks compliant with Quality Procedures, Work Specifications, and Signal Standing Instructions.
- Comply with and exercise utmost safety in all activities, being responsible for the safety of self and peers on site and trackside.
- Plan scheduled PM work and execute timely CM tasks.
- Carry out day-to-day monitoring of equipment performance and follow up on anomalies.
- Ensure authorized access to Signal Equipment Rooms and Installations.
- Assist EMM in managing and controlling maintenance spares inventory.
- Complete necessary reports for assigned tasks.
- Perform physical duties including carrying tool bags (5-12kg), transporting/installing equipment (up to 100kg with hydraulic stacker), and walking on trackside up to 2km.
Requirements
- Diploma in Electrical or Electronics Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 4 years’ experience as Technical Officer or equivalent in a related field.
- Proven ability to adhere strictly to safety procedures and uphold the CCL Safety Mission.
- Ability to work in assigned shift patterns (permanent night, 3 rotating shifts, day shifts).
- Demonstrated leadership and dependability in executing tasks efficiently.
- Willingness to perform maintenance on ground level trackside equipment (30-45 mins per item, max 3.5h trackside).
- Physical capability including climbing ladders (up to 3m) and manual throwing of point machines.
