Key Responsibilities
- Support the Trains Billing Hub through the entire billing cycle, from order receipt to payment collection.
- Ensure timely and accurate billing for manpower project claims, LTA reimbursements/grants, and recovery from clients/contractors.
- Resolve billing or claims disputes efficiently.
- Manage accruals and revenue forecasting, ensuring timely processing and reporting.
- Prepare the Annual Budget Template for dissemination to project teams.
- Advise internal users and project teams on SMRT’s processes, reimbursement procedures, and claim matters.
- Administer the application process for notification and/or approval from LTA in compliance with the Trains’ Rapid Transit System License.
- Participate actively in KAIZEN efforts, including issue identification, plan development, and change implementation.
- Perform data entry and maintain organized billing files in the company’s archiving systems.
Requirements
- Nitec or Diploma graduates in any discipline considered.
- Experience in Administration, Billing, Operations, Project Management, or a related field is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Word), especially advanced Excel skills (Pivot, Lookup Formulas).
- Strong ability to multitask and handle multiple issues concurrently.
- Comfortable liaising with diverse groups, including SMRT internal staff, LTA/government agencies, and external contractors/clients.
- Strong teamwork ability.
