Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate capacity modeling of assigned Fab area
- Apply industrial engineering concepts to capacity analysis, line management, scheduling, and production planning
- Use statistical analysis to maintain and audit manufacturing capacity information
- Design and coordinate cross-departmental projects
- Collaborate with R&D and process engineering to plan for future product introductions
- Evaluate scenarios representing modeling changes, performing 'what if' analyses with Engineering and Production to understand impacts
- Coordinate capital purchases and capacity changes with corporate planning and purchasing
- Partner with Area Managers to stay updated on area issues, priorities, and projects
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Engineering or Science required
- Preference for a Bachelor’s in Industrial Systems Engineering (ISE)
- Strong understanding of statistics and data analysis
- Strong analytical, logical, and critical thinking skills
- Effective communicator capable of collaborating across all levels
