Key Responsibilities

  • Provide nutrition science expertise for product innovation, including innovation pipeline, new product development and reformulations.
  • Responsible for the scientific substantiation of messaging and claims for Adult Nutrition (AN) products, ensuring accuracy, credibility, and global consistency.
  • Collaborate effectively within and between cross-functional teams, including Food Science, Medical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, and Marketing to provide scientific and technical direction throughout product cycle.
  • Stay current with the latest scientific literature and apply relevant findings to support product development, innovation as well as product messaging.
  • Partner with clinical scientists to conceive, design and plan advanced clinical research in collaboration with cross-function teams to evaluate safety and efficacy of new ingredients or AN products. Interpret and report the results from these studies.
  • Engage in collaborative research with leading academic and medical researchers; maintain strong connections with professional organizations and key opinion leaders.
  • Apply advanced technical writing skills to produce reports and documents; write independently and evaluate the writing of others.
  • Publish research findings through the form of abstracts, presentations (poster or oral), peer-reviewed journal publications.
  • Represent the company as a subject matter expert in Nutrition Science expert at scientific conferences, educational programs and other scientific meetings.

Requirements

  • PhD in Nutrition or related science discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with in-depth knowledge of clinical nutrition principles, their practical applications, and clinical research.
  • Registered dietitian with clinical experience, especially in adult nutrition is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, including key opinion leaders.
