Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and collaborate with Maersk stowage entities and external vendors to ensure vessel profiles and onboard stability programs are delivered timely and of good quality as required.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to keep vessel configuration details updated (e.g., slots, reefers, pigtails) to optimize capacity.
- Maintain and update vessel information in the database to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Support the development, testing, deployment, and improvement of stowage-related systems and tools.
- Identify and follow up on system issues (technical defects or user challenges) to ensure smooth operations.
- Troubleshoot basic system queries (installation, usage, setup) and support preventive measures to avoid recurring issues.
- Participate in process and system improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and user experience.
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering, Naval Engineering, or Naval Architecture.
- Stowage planning experience would be an advantage.
- Exposure to data tools (e.g., Power BI, VBA, Power Automate) or basic programming is advantageous.
- Strong problem-solving and organisational skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills with ability to translate technical concepts to operations.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and customer-focused.
