Key Responsibilities

  • Develop Security firmware IP subsystems for SSD products that meet or exceed technical specifications across Security, Performance, Functionality, and Quality/Reliability.
  • Develop firmware unit and functional tests to ensure the firmware subsystem meets all required quality, functional, and performance benchmarks during product development.
  • Provide consistent, detailed technical updates on firmware development activities and project status to management and cross-functional teams.
  • Foster collaborative relationships with peers and management while providing technical guidance to improve team involvement, morale, and productivity.

Requirements

  • PhD in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 2 years experience in embedded firmware development, OR
  • Masters/Bachelors in Electrical or Computer Engineering with a minimum of 5 years' experience in embedded firmware development.
  • Expertise in programming languages such as C, C++, or RUST.
  • Proficiency in conducting analysis, designs, programming, debugging, and modifying software for firmware applications.
  • Proven ability to resolve complex code problems within firmware applications.
  • Understanding of storage interfaces, ideally PCIe/NVMe, SATA, or SAS.
