Key Responsibilities
- Establish and improve campus security processes for the APJ/GC region.
- Standardize contract security operations staff, defining expectations and troubleshooting for regional campuses and remote locations.
- Manage relationships with cross-functional APJ/GC company leadership, including Campus Leadership, EH&S, Facilities, and Commercial Operations.
- Provide strategic risk assessment and apply security management best practices according to Illumina’s global policy.
- Serve as the regional leader in maturing the security program through threat and risk assessment, investigations, and process establishment.
- Develop and execute emergency response security plans for key projects.
- Formulate and deploy policies, procedures, and operational standards supporting campus-wide physical security initiatives.
- Manage Physical Security Systems Specialists, ensuring alignment with Global Physical Security Programs for the APJ/GC Region.
Requirements
- Proven ability to manage physical security systems and programs aligned with strategic global direction.
- Experience in threat identification, assessment, and mitigation against violence or operational disruption involving physical assets/IP.
- Ability to maintain an active role in developing and executing security plans for emergency response.
- Experience in formulating and deploying operational standards supporting physical security initiatives.
- Ability to serve on campus-wide planning teams representing the Global Security Program.
- Experience managing Physical Security Systems Specialists.
- Ability to travel 10-15% domestically and internationally within the APJ/GC region.
