Key Responsibilities
- Support sales engineering on balance-of-plant design topics and best practices
- Share lessons learned to support future project pursuits
- Take over awarded orders from Sales and execute technical scope with the Project Manager
- Balance technical solutions against project budget and commercial requirements
- Work with internal teams, suppliers and contractors to fulfil contractual obligations
- Prepare and provide technical drawings, calculations, manuals and documentation
- Coordinate factory and supplier deliverables and validate technical proposals
- Finalize balance-of-plant design and raise purchase requisitions
- Integrate all balance-of-plant scope into final product delivery
- Ensure compliance with customer requirements and international / local standards
- Support subsidiaries and partners with technical guidance during site execution
- Conduct technical presentations and training
Requirements
- University degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 5 years technical experience in diesel/gas engine or power generation industry
- Hands-on experience in regional project execution, installation, site supervision and commissioning of diesel gensets
- Knowledge of electrical power systems, genset control systems and engineering calculations
- Advantage: knowledge of switchgear and electrical protection systems
- Good understanding of Asian business practices
- Strong communication skills, teamwork, proactiveness and positive mindset
- Willing to travel within APAC
