Key Responsibilities
- Carry out and support testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of solar PV systems including modules, inverters, and balance-of-system components
- Supervise and manage contractors to ensure quality of workmanship and adherence to technical specifications
- Conduct site audits to assess work quality, safety standards, and compliance with approved SOPs, WIs, and SWPs
- Act as a Train-the-Trainer resource by guiding and mentoring contractors in technical troubleshooting and best practices
- Liaise with external parties such as authorities, town councils, and utility providers to obtain site access and work clearances
- Support the development, implementation, and adherence to Standard Operating Procedures and Safe Work Procedures
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including Kaizen and Lean projects, to improve workflow efficiency
- Ensure contractors submit accurate weekly and monthly reports on time
Requirements
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field is preferred
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in solar PV O&M, electrical maintenance, or related technical fields
- Hands-on knowledge of solar PV systems including modules, inverters, racking, and protection systems
- Experience in contractor supervision, site audits, and safety compliance
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Ability to provide weekend and overtime support when required for critical issues
- Valid Class 3/3A driving license with personal transportation is preferred
