Key Responsibilities
- Design & Develop firmware using C/C++ for genetic analysis instruments incorporating optics, fluidics, motion systems, and advanced image sensors/cameras.
- Develop and integrate firmware from early concept phase through to manufacturing release.
- Collaborate with EE, ME, and SW disciplines to develop and debug complex embedded systems.
- Adhere strictly to project schedules and delivery timelines.
- Follow best practices in firmware design, coding conventions, debugging, and documentation.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in developing embedded firmware with hardware integration experience related to biotech applications.
- Mastery of the C programming language.
- Understanding of real-time OS, scheduling, and synchronization concepts.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and datasheets and contribute to design input/reviews.
- Knowledge and experience in cyber security software implementation.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Bachelor/MS in Electrical/Electronics or Computer Engineering with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
- Willingness to travel to the US to learn technology and collaborate with US design teams.
