Key Responsibilities
- Lead the team to achieve division objectives and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) through effective collaboration with Operations and Maintenance staff.
- Ensure the safety and integrity of the railway infrastructure by planning, monitoring, and reviewing preventive/corrective maintenance works according to asset management plans.
- Identify and develop solutions for safety and reliability concerns affecting the railway infrastructure system.
- Review technical work instructions and quality procedures for maintenance activities.
- Review and update the System Hazard log and Risk register.
- Identify, review, and implement cost-effective technologies or process changes to enhance system performance.
- Support LTA and SMRT projects by reviewing design specifications for adequacy in safety, reliability, maintainability, and operability.
- Manage the unit's annual budget and work plan.
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, Electronics, Civil & Structural Engineering, or equivalent from a recognized institution.
- At least 8 years of working experience in managerial positions within a maintenance organization.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work hands-on in both office and site environments.
- Willingness to work in SMRT depots, tracks, or facilities.
- Ability to work in rotating or fixed shifts as per MOM guidelines.
