Key Responsibilities

  • Act as equipment owner for defined CMP tools, monitoring OEE and uptime to drive performance improvements.

  • Define and optimize Preventive Maintenance (PM) plans and spare parts strategies.
  • Provide advanced troubleshooting support for mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, vacuum, robotics, and software issues.
  • Collaborate with process engineers to ensure equipment performance meets all process requirements.
  • Support yield, quality, and reliability investigations from an equipment perspective.
  • Drive continuous improvement activities using Lean/Six Sigma/SMED to enhance cycle time and throughput.
  • Ensure strict adherence to EHS rules, including high voltage, vacuum, and cleanroom protocols.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in the CMP area.
  • Familiarity with specific CMP Equipment (e.g., AMAT MirraMesa, Ebara F-REX200, Ontrak).
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and deep technical knowledge across multiple domains.
  • Knowledge of quality methodologies including SPC, FMEA, and 8D problem-solving.
  • Excellent cross-functional communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Strong sense of ownership, commitment, and flexibility to support operational priorities.
