Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive technical training on the operation, maintenance, and repair of buses (diesel, hybrid, electric).
- Develop and update training content, manuals, presentations, and assessments aligned with OEM guidelines.
- Train staff on diagnostic tools, vehicle systems, and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with engineering teams and vendors to stay updated on new technologies and prepare service bulletins.
- Maintain training records, track progress, and report to the training manager.
- Ensure all training complies with SSG and ITE compliance standards.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in bus or heavy vehicle maintenance and repair.
- At least 2 years of experience delivering technical training or mentoring technicians.
- Diploma in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering, Engineering Management, Hi-Nitec/Nitec in Engineering.
- Industry Trainer Certificate (ITE) or Advance Certificate in Training & Assessment - Facilitated Learning (ACTA/ACLP).
- Strong knowledge of bus systems including engines, transmissions, high-voltage electrical systems, emission controls, and diagnostics.
- Familiarity with hybrid and electric bus technologies used in Singapore’s public transport fleets.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin/Malay/Tamil.
