Key Responsibilities
- Install and/or relocate equipment at customers’ sites, conducting associated start-up, cut over, and check-out activities.
- Provide warranty tool support or paid service by performing on-site preventive maintenance and addressing equipment abnormalities.
- Apply advanced troubleshooting techniques to diagnose malfunctions, isolate problems, and determine corrective actions or escalation paths.
- Implement field modifications or updates as released in Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), involving the removal and installation of various assemblies.
- Prepare and maintain accurate service logs, usage documentation, diagnostic updates, and management reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Engineering, or related field with 5+ years of experience; OR Master’s degree with 3+ years; OR equivalent work experience.
- Proven ability to work independently and demonstrate a strong desire for continuous learning and growth.
- Proficiency in interpreting electrical and mechanical schematics, diagrams, and operation manuals.
- Ability to work in a clean room environment while utilizing required personal protective safety equipment.
- Willingness to travel frequently, domestically and internationally, based on customer needs.
- Flexibility to work swing shifts (Tues – Sat and/or Sun – Thur) and participate in rostered 24/7 on-call standby duty.
- Strong interpersonal and technical communication skills to engage customers on solutions.
