Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the ILS/training Workpackage and fulfill all logistical commitments (cost, budget, deadlines, performance, quality), with reporting functionally to the AMS Project Manager
  • Provide supplies and logistical services: documentation, training, list of tools and test equipment, list of spare parts, etc.
  • Evaluate changes in the scenario
  • Carry out logistics studies and analyses (maintenance concept, reliability, availability, logistics tree, etc.)
  • Write updates to technical user documentation (DTU) or maintenance documentation
  • Design and develop trainings dedicated to our customers (means preparation/validation; training materials creation/update/validation)
  • Lead (hierarchically or functionally) and develop teams dedicated to customer trainings
  • Organize Customer trainings
  • Guarantee the preparation and the correct delivery of training activities on our Customer SoS to meet AMS commitments (quality, On-Time Delivery, costs), customer satisfaction, and operational performance
  • Improve continuously the competitiveness and the added value of the ILS/training activities
  • Manage the stakeholder part of the ILS/training activities delivery
  • The responsibility of the ILS/Training Manager includes utilizing people, process, and tools from across ILS, Engineering, and Service Management disciplines distributed worldwide to plan and implement support services and the implementation of design change. The role will engage stakeholders internally and externally with particular emphasis on frequent and regular engagement with technical peers, managers, and customers.

Requirements

  • Strong skills in systems engineering, applied in demanding technical environments (5 to 10 years of experience)
  • Excellent negotiation skills, both internally and with customers, combined with an educational approach to facilitate understanding of the issues at stake
  • Proven experience in managing ILS or support-related activities
  • Ability to work closely with project teams and various ILS/Training teams to ensure consistency of deliverables in an international context
  • Strong skills in interpreting, producing, and tracking technical documentation
  • Working as part of a team in complex, technology-based projects
  • Knowledge of ATM concepts and ATC systems
