Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the BIM Execution Plan (BEP) in collaboration with partners, incorporating Micron standards throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage and maintain model organization and folder structure within the Common Data Environment (CDE) according to BEP/Micron standards.
  • Conduct quality control and health checks on federated and trade models to ensure completeness, accuracy, and adherence to the BIM Execution Plan.
  • Lead coordination meetings to resolve model issues and clashes, prioritizing efforts based on construction plans and changes.
  • Assist pre-construction teams with constructability reviews and facilitate review sessions between contractors and the Micron operations team.
  • Ensure shop drawings are based on coordinated 3D models to minimize rework and verify design changes prior to production.
  • Assist in maintaining drawings within Revit and ensuring the accuracy of as-constructed/as-built base design for subsequent users.
  • Assist and lead 3D scanning/reality capture initiatives to update models to as-constructed and as-built conditions.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all BIM-related matters for both internal and external partners.
  • Perform periodic audits to maintain the digital twin's accuracy throughout the facility’s lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Tertiary education in Engineering related to AEC industry (Architectural, Engineering, Construction).
  • Minimum 3 years of BIM experience in large-scale manufacturing industry projects.
  • Strong understanding and good knowledge of BIM software (Revit, Navisworks, Plant 3D, Tekla, Archicad, Sketchup, etc.).
  • Familiarity with BIM Common Data Environment (CDE) platforms.
  • Passion for BIM applications beyond just design and construction.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Knowledge of clash detection processes and reporting.
