Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with silicon design, product & test, and packaging teams to architect & define test solutions for silicon photonics at wafersort, die-level, and CPO-level
- Collaborate with design, packaging, and key suppliers to understand structural and parametric mechanisms for performance, yield, reliability and quality issues
- Interface with suppliers to provide technical inputs & test requirements to enable production-worthy end-to-end solutions
- Responsible for identifying & mitigating test challenges and executing large technical projects and processes in a timely manner
- Post Silicon Bring up of test patterns leading to optimization for mass production enablement
- Characterization execution/analysis and debug of Silicon Photonics test (including RMA) in new silicon designs and process technologies
- Optimization of test coverage and flows for increased quality, yield, cost improvement, and test time reduction
- Solves complex, novel, and non-recurring problems; initiate significant changes to existing processes/methods and leads development and implementation
- Influences technical decisions that have a significant impact on final product
Requirements
- Demonstrated expertise in the field of optical interconnects and silicon photonics
- Familiar with general test & manufacturing of silicon photonics
- Hands-on experience with ATE test development and execution
- Experience with Microsoft standard apps (i.e. Office) & Windows
- Good communication skills and ability to work with geographically distributed engineering teams
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Computer Engineering, Optics & Photonics Engineering, or comparable disciplines
