Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop process packages to meet product specification requirements according to program targets and timelines.
  • Characterize processes using advanced techniques (SEM, TEM, XPS, SIMS, AFM, etc.) and design/implement experiments to analyze data.
  • Improve process maturity and sustain processes in the fab while updating Fab engineers on customer issues and technology needs.
  • Support root cause defect and unique fail mode analysis in the R&D Pilot Line.
  • Deliver advanced technology to meet future product nodes by developing recipes that meet structural and electrical requirements.
  • Work in multi-functional teams to jointly develop Array and CMOS structures and support failure analysis/yield improvement.

Requirements

  • PhD in Physics, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemistry, or a closely related field of study, OR
  • Bachelor/Masters in Physics, Material Science, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemistry, or related field of study with 5+ years of relevant CVD/Diffusion experience.
  • Solid troubleshooting, experimental build, and data analysis skills.
  • Understanding of CVD and Diffusion deposition processing principles.
  • Plasma physics background and understanding of plasma sources used in plasma CVD or equivalent experience.
  • Understanding of solid state devices.
  • Rudimentary understanding of process control and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Office.
