About the role
AI summarisedJoin Micron Technology in Singapore as a Yield Analysis Engineer within the NAND Technology Department. This role is critical for providing key feedback and direction on yield improvement activities for NAND memory technology, requiring deep collaboration across all company functions to drive innovation in data analytics.
IDMOnsiteSTPG
Key Responsibilities
- Discover yield issues in NAND development and quantify them using unique metrics or combinations of metrics (e.g., wafer/dice/tile shading, ECATS).
- Drive cross-functional collaboration with process area, integration, yield, failure analysis, and design teams to define issues and derive improvement actions across tech-nodes.
- Own deep dive statistical analysis of inline, probe, and cell metrics to define problems, enable early detection, and improve product yield and quality.
- Initiate data mining and correlation studies on new issues, performing PFA requests to identify root causes of yield problems.
- Conduct yield trend analysis to identify root causes for yield shifts across process steps, conversion, algorithm changes, and design.
- Develop and refine inline detection methods in collaboration with metrology and RDA teams.
- Identify gaps between current tests and co-develop unique parametric/probe bins to detect new fail modes.
- Develop innovative techniques using various query languages and scripting to extract data from databases and improve work efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Material Science, or a related field.
- 5 - 7 years of experience in FA, Yield Analysis, or Yield Enhancement.
- Deep understanding of probe failure mechanisms.
- Ability to perform electrical bench data collection (desirable).
- Fluency in Python, JavaScript, or C/C++.
