Key Responsibilities
- Independently undertake assignments including commissioning, installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and overhaul of mtu electrical/electronic products and associated systems either at customer sites or in the company’s workshop
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with manufacturer manuals, technical specifications, and specific work instructions
- Resolve technical issues efficiently and effectively, ensuring services are completed as per work orders and accepted by customers
- Perform functional testing and carry out necessary repairs or adjustments on electronic equipment and control systems
- Conduct acceptance tests together with customers or their representatives; provide expert recommendations on repair work if required
- Prepare and submit detailed service or investigation reports, travel reports, and job completion documentation in a timely manner
- Ensure compliance with all safety and health regulations under WSHA and company WSH guidelines during on-site and workshop activities
- Support continuous improvement of service processes and contribute to a culture of operational excellence
- Carry out any other ad hoc tasks assigned by the Manager or Department Head
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
- Minimum 1 year of relevant working experience in a service or maintenance engineering environment
- Preferably within power systems or industrial equipment sectors
- Prior experience with mtu engines or power generation systems
- Knowledge in hybrid, electrified, or digitalized power solutions
- Team leadership or mentoring experience
- WSQ/NEBOSH safety certifications or equivalent
