Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop processes to meet product specification requirements according to program targets and timelines.
- Characterize processes using advanced techniques such as SEM, TEM, XPS, SIMS, and AFM.
- Design and execute experiments, analyze data, and present findings in appropriate forums.
- Manage R&D Pilot Line activities within the Fab to improve process maturity and sustain processes.
- Support root cause defect and unique fail mode analysis for customer issues.
- Deliver advanced technology to meet future product nodes by developing precise recipes.
- Work in cross-functional teams to jointly develop Array and CMOS structures.
- Support failure analysis and yield improvement efforts.
Requirements
- PhD in Physics, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Alternatively, BS/MS plus 5 years of equivalent industry or research experience may substitute for a PhD.
- Demonstrated understanding in one or more of the following: Transport phenomena, Electromagnetics, Atomic/Molecular physics, and Surface phenomena.
- Aptitude for a research and development (R&D) environment.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
- Willingness to travel for brief business purposes and provide weekend support to the R&D Pilot Line when necessary.
