Key Responsibilities

  • Support and drive successful product transfer into high-volume manufacturing.
  • Lead technical issue resolution through root cause analysis (RCA) and implementing corrective/preventive actions across NPI, ramp-up, and sustaining phases.
  • Develop embedded systems, electrical designs, schematics, and PCB layouts for current and new products.
  • Manage component lifecycle, ensuring timely updates and accuracy within Altium Vault and related databases.
  • Drive design reviews, risk assessments (FMEA), and operational readiness reviews to ensure manufacturability.
  • Manage Engineering Change Requests (ECRs/ECOs) and maintain critical documentation including drawings, BOMs, and validation plans.
  • Coordinate PCA fabrication and testing methodologies (ICT/FCT) with suppliers during development and mass production.
  • Perform data trending and apply statistical analysis (DOE) to optimize product quality and reduce manufacturing costs.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent combination (e.g., 3 years + Master's).
  • Excellent working knowledge of embedded systems, circuit theory, and analog/digital electronics.
  • Expertise in PCBA design, including solid understanding of ICT/FCT and manufacturing processes.
  • Advanced proficiency in PCB design tools such as Altium Designer.
  • Proven experience with EMC/EMI design principles and countermeasures.
  • Strong application of problem-solving techniques (FMEA, 5 Whys, 8D) and statistical engineering tools (DOE).
  • Ability to lead technical discussions and interface effectively with manufacturing and service organizations.
  • Strong understanding of BOM structuring and Engineering Change Management processes.
