Key Responsibilities
- Develop state-of-the-art architectures to reinforce Schneider Electric competitiveness.
- Engage high level discussions with customers to capture expressed and unexpressed requirements, convert those requirements in power systems architectures magnifying Schneider Electric catalogue strengths.
- Support our customers and ecosystem partners with high level expertise in power systems, protection plan (MV/LV), power automation and monitoring, control.
- Create highly valuable content to promote & prescribe through workshops & trainings SE solutions (reference design, whitepapers, webinars & conferences).
- Possess good knowledge on the Hyperscale Datacenter applications and ability to lead technical discussions directly with Customers to capture application needs.
- Understand Customer's key performance indicators, constraints, operation, roles & responsibility in their respective industrial applications.
- Carry out preliminary engineering design in accordance with local codes or relevant international design codes.
- Contribute to the definition of optimized and competitive HV/MV/LV power systems architecture based on Schneider Electric catalogue and contribute to the definition of innovative electrical distribution architectures.
- Ability to Value Engineer the customer solutions with the focus on overall Electrical Architecture.
- Technology innovation by experimentations with customers and new generation architectures investigations.
Requirements
- 10+ years' experience in Electrical Power System design engineering studies with a strong consulting background.
- Experience in leading Electrical design for Hyperscale Datacenter will be an advantage.
- Good exposure to Power System studies software such as ETAP.
- Familiar with project business model and exposure to working with Channel partners (Design Consultants, Panel Builder and Contractors).
- Familiar with direct engagement with customers.
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
- Master's degree in Power Systems engineering is a plus.
- Must have High, Medium and Low Voltage system design and execution knowledge for Datacenter industries.
- Knowledge in power systems engineering (power system architecture, protection, AC & DC power electronics conversion (UPS/DC Charger), power quality, reliability).
- Good knowledge of Schneider Electric offers (MV/LV Equipment, UPS, monitoring & control, relays).
- Very good knowledge in Power system studies and equipment sizing.
- Ability to engage customers at C-Level.
