Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Project Managers to support the successful execution of assigned projects
  • Develop, maintain, and monitor detailed project schedules covering all phases of execution
  • Actively track project progress against baseline plans and highlight deviations early
  • Identify potential schedule, resource, or execution risks and proactively escalate to the Project Manager for evaluation and mitigation
  • Define resource requirements in collaboration with engineering, quality, and execution teams
  • Coordinate and balance resources across multiple projects to avoid conflicts and bottlenecks
  • Support mitigation of resource constraints by engaging key stakeholders and aligning priorities
  • Ensure optimal allocation of internal and external resources across the project portfolio
  • Establish and maintain close working relationships with local suppliers, particularly for Balance of Plant (BOP) scope
  • Track supplier progress against agreed schedules and expedite activities where required
  • Lead progress tracking with suppliers and follow up on open actions to closure

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, or a related discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project management and execution within an engineered solution, industrial, or infrastructure environment
  • Experience in the diesel engine, generator, or power systems industry is a strong advantage
  • Demonstrated track record of supporting projects delivered on schedule, within budget, and to specification
  • Strong understanding of project planning, scheduling, and execution methodologies
  • Proficiency in project management and planning software
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a high-pressure environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Effective team player with the ability to work across functions and cultures
  • Comfortable working in a multicultural APAC environment with awareness of regional business practices
  • Accountable, resilient, and able to manage workload peaks and competing priorities
  • Project Management certification (PMP or equivalent) is an advantage
  • Proficient in spoken and written English
