Key Responsibilities
- Carry out preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems (Monorail Train, 22kV, 750Vdc, 415Vac switchgear, HV transformers, Traction Rectifiers and Inverters, battery chargers, UPS System, Cables & 750V Traction Power contact line system).
- Lead the team in fault attendance, diagnosis tests, troubleshooting, repairs, and modifications to the monorail system.
- Comply with relevant procedures and safety requirements during maintenance activities.
- Ensure compliance with Quality objectives as stated in QP, WIs, SWP, RAs, Task lists & checklists.
- Ensure spares, tools, and equipment used are in good condition and calibrated when necessary.
- Operate ground support equipment, company vehicles, and forklift as assigned (training provided).
- Adopt KAIZEN methodology (5M, 5S & 5W) to improve productivity and value of work performed.
- Maintain excellent housekeeping and a high level of work discipline.
Requirements
- Recognized Diploma or equivalent in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, or Mechatronic Engineering.
- At least three (3) years of relevant working experience in railway maintenance workshop.
- Ability to manage and lead a team of Technical Officers towards departmental objectives.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively with all levels of staff.
- Possess good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Resourceful, self-motivated, and result-oriented.
