Key Responsibilities
- Review project specifications and technical clarifications
- Responsible for M&E works such as ACMV, Electrical, Plumbing and Sanitary etc
- Coordinate with Engineers and Architects, and perform site supervision and co-ordination of M&E works
- Review all M&E shop drawings from design team and submit to consultant
- Assist Project Manager in managing the M&E staffs and subcontractors for better coordination between subcontractors and different trades
- Oversee the day to day running of all matters relating to the construction of the project with assistance of M&E staffs, mainly on mechanical & electrical works
- Attend principal meetings and any other meetings with Clients, Consultants and external parties
- Review and discuss construction method and choice of material with Project Manager, Consultants and specialist works-contractors to finalise the most appropriate practical, productive and safe construction method
- Liaison with external parties such as clients, client representatives and authorities, and generation of official correspondence as appropriate
- Co-ordinate the works carried out by his/her M&E Engineer and M&E Coordinators
- Adhere to all relevant legal requirements in performance of work duties in the project
- Ensure all internal and external work parties under his/her charge perform work in accordance with relevant legal requirements
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering or its equivalent
- Minimum 10 years in construction industry
- Excellent project management and leadership skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication and stakeholder management
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and project scheduling tools
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and adaptable to dynamic site conditions
