Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing detailed cost estimates for offshore engineering projects (FPSO/module upgrades, platform conversions, fabrication works).
- Develop work breakdown structures and cost breakdowns aligned with defined project scopes.
- Coordinate inputs from Engineering, Production, Procurement, and Project Management teams for accurate estimation.
- Conduct market research on material, labor, and subcontractor costs specific to offshore repair and upgrade projects.
- Review contractual and commercial sections of tender documents to identify cost implications and compliance requirements.
- Support the preparation of detailed cost summaries, comparative pricing reports, and bid submission documentation.
- Monitor estimating tasks to ensure all tender deliverables are submitted within required timeframes.
- Ensure consideration of HSEQ requirements in project estimates, particularly for high-risk offshore operations.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 1–3 years of experience in cost estimating, quantity surveying, or project support within a marine and/or offshore environment.
- Basic ability to read technical drawings and project specifications.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proven ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
