Key Responsibilities
- Monitor supplier adherence to contractual obligations and drive continuous improvement in Satair's delivery capabilities.
- Maintain global inventory policy, including product classification, optimizing order points/size, and setting up inventory in SAP.
- Handle supplier relations by meeting purchase commitments, preparing monthly reports, and conducting monthly forecasting.
- Collaborate with the Product & Service Manager on product selection and stocking level development/maintenance.
- Lead and document monthly forecast meetings with the Product Manager.
- Monitor slow-moving items and agree on action plans with the Product Manager.
- Collect, consolidate, and comment on Planning/FC data from various stakeholders to create a single demand forecast.
- Prepare final forecasts for approval and conduct 'why-late' analysis for reporting.
- Track and report on key performance indicators including budget/forecast, inventory level, turn, slow movers, stock-outs, and supplier/customer performance.
Requirements
- Professional insight with practical experience in Purchasing, logistics, or engineering.
- Strong business acumen and sound judgment.
- Good numeracy skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Google Workspace.
- Experience with SAP is required.
- Comfortable with data analysis and exposure to BI or reporting tools.
