Key Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance tasks as defined in Maintenance Work Orders for facilities and manufacturing equipment.
  • Review Job Packages for accuracy before initiating work to ensure compliance with cGMP, SHE, and Quality standards.
  • Troubleshoot equipment problems, performing repairs, adjustments, rebuilds, and maintenance to minimize downtime.
  • Perform PPM routines, preventive maintenance inspections, lubrication, restoration, and repairs to maximize equipment availability.
  • Maintain detailed logs, work orders, and paperwork for all executed maintenance/inspection tasks.
  • Accurately enter daily time into the computerized maintenance management system using correct codes.
  • Participate in Root Cause Analyses (RCA's) and Reliability Center Maintenance Reviews (RCM's), following up on corrective actions.
  • Co-ordinate Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and adhere to all safety practices described in the Job Safety Analysis.

Requirements

  • Diploma/ITC in Mechanical, Marine, or Chemical Process Engineering with a strong background in production and utility systems operation/maintenance.
  • Ability to read and comprehend equipment schematics, assembly drawings, pneumatic, and hydraulic diagrams.
  • Excellent analytical problem-solving skills to determine failure causes and assist in reduction programs.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for accurate documentation.
  • Must be self-motivated, team-oriented, and capable of working independently or collaboratively.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills to interact with operators, engineers, and vendors.
  • Willingness to perform shift hours as required.
