Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and support Linux OS and engineering infrastructure across on-premise, lab/datacenter, and hybrid cloud environments.
- Manage the OS lifecycle, including image creation, patching, upgrades, hardening, baseline configuration, and standardization.
- Maintain platform reliability through disciplined operations, including Incident Response, Root Cause Analysis, and continuous improvement.
- Design and implement infrastructure automation using Python and modern frameworks like Ansible to support Infrastructure as Code and self-service capabilities.
- Provide global team support and contribute to the successful completion of IT projects.
- Assist with hardware/software installation and troubleshooting in lab/datacenter spaces, including rack/stack coordination and break-fix activities.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in Unix/Linux systems administration within physical, virtual, or cloud environments.
- Demonstrated passion for learning, strong sense of ownership, and ability to drive tasks to completion.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Science or Engineering.
