Key Responsibilities

  • Provide ongoing legal support and advise business heads on matters concerning financing, banking, leases, M&A, intellectual property, sanctions, data protection, and anti-competition.

  • Manage litigation matters, liaising with external counsel, controlling costs, and coordinating information flow.
  • Conduct legal research into potential litigation to formulate company strategy and analyze risk/chances of success.
  • Address general legal queries from internal business stakeholders across various departments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Law or equivalent from a recognized university.
  • 3 to 5 years of Post Qualified Experience (PQE) in a law firm or corporate in-house legal environment.
  • Proven experience in civil and commercial litigation and contract drafting.
  • Strong knowledge of laws applicable to the company’s operations and businesses.
  • Sound understanding of domestic and cross-border/regional dispute resolution litigation.
  • Strong communication skills with a commercially savvy approach to legal matters.
