Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all relevant Quality Assurance Procedures and SOPs are always observed
- Liaise with the internal department stakeholders as well as sub-contractors both in-house and out of yard
- Lead and devise improvement initiatives for existing processes, policies and procedures
- Maintain a list of reliable sub-contractors to complement the organization workforce through screening, revalidation, and post project evaluation
- Ensure adequate information/requirements are supplied for sub-contractors' tenders
- Prepare commercial terms/bid analysis and negotiate with sub-contractors, if necessary
- Ensure the coordination of all sub-contracting work for specific projects are in place
- Assist Project Management on claims assessment for original/variation workscope, including compilation and reporting of sub-contract cost
- Review the compiled post project evaluation prior to final evaluation by Sub-contract Committee
- Ensure the map out of sub-contractors workload to be done in advance with Production Department and to be of fair distribution
- Prepare reports and presentations for management reviews, if required
- Review subcontractors' applications/renewals for foreign workers' permits
