Key Responsibilities

  • Leads the implementation of the Project EEHA Execution Plan across all relevant phases.
  • Organizes and facilitates self-verification training programs for contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Conducts EEHA Kick-Off Meetings (KOM) with suppliers and subcontractors to clarify deliverables; if missed, ensures guidance is provided during Pre-Production Meetings (PPM).
  • Sets supplier prioritization based on deliverable quantity and criticality to ensure timely coordination and execution.
  • Oversees the setup and execution of the Hazardous Area Equipment Register, Competency Matrix, and EEHA Detailed Inspection Report form.
  • Coordinates with RPE, Electrical, Instrumentation & Controls, and Telecom departments to manage EEHA compliance and documentation.
  • Reviews and verifies NRTL Certificates and Certificates of Conformity (CoC) submitted by suppliers, subcontractors, and the company.
  • Assesses personnel competency certifications from suppliers and subcontractors for compliance with project standards.
  • Provides approval for NRTL and CoC equipment and facilitates alignment with company procedures.
  • Evaluates suppliers' schedules for electrical equipment in hazardous areas to ensure alignment with project requirements.
  • Reviews inspection reports and Hazardous Area Verification Dossiers (HAVDs) submitted by vendors to maintain compliance and quality.
  • Coordinates the ongoing management of the HAER, HAVD, and Competency Matrix with the Jobsite EEHA Coordinator throughout the construction phase.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • Holds recognized EEHA qualifications such as CompEx for NEC (Modules Ex01–Ex04), equivalent certification, or at minimum the NEC 500 Foundation Certificate
  • Minimum 6 years of working experience in offshore oil and gas project management and engineering execution, specifically in electrical engineering
  • Experience in electrical engineering design and execution for oil and gas projects
  • Able to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of strategies, work methods, processes, and systems in project and engineering execution
  • Competent in managing ambiguity, conflict, and working in a culturally diverse environment
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills
  • High awareness of safe working practices related to design, construction, mechanical completion, pre-commissioning, and commissioning of oil and gas facilities
