Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for site manufacturing of products in support of Global sales goals
- Responsible for site shipment and distribution of finished goods to the intended affiliates in Asia, Middle East and Latin America
- Devise strategy for operations, aligned with overall Divisional strategy
- Ensure quality standards are met and that operations sustain positive compliance posture with all regulatory agencies
- Lead Operations organization in a balanced scorecard of manufacturing performance to optimize service, cost, compliance, and people considerations while driving a culture of continuous improvement
- Ensure compliance with all Abbott Corporate Quality, Financial, Regulatory, Purchasing and EHS policies and regulations
- Provide leadership in driving a proactive compliance culture in all these areas
- Responsible for implementing and maintaining the effectiveness of the quality system
- Develop budgets, capital plans and staffing requirements to meet strategic objectives
- Operate in a highly matrixed relationship with all functions within the Division
- Facilitate change leadership and communication efforts to enable organizational performance
