Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with BUs and IT to solve key business challenges with emerging technologies/solutions, leading to meaningful business outcomes
- Plan and execute rapid prototypes, POCs, and pilots, leveraging on AI technologies
- Evaluate and drive towards outcomes and make timely go/no-go decisions with stakeholders, and support scaling to implementation
- Raise awareness of emerging tech and industry use cases across staff and leadership
- Manage end-to-end R&D with universities/institutes (e.g., NUS, A*STAR): align goals, manage stakeholders, track milestones/budgets, report progress
- Structure and drive long-term R&D to support strategic innovation
- Build and manage relationships across startups, scaleups, VCs, agencies, associations, and tech companies globally
- Scout and assess external solutions to solve key SIA challenges and business pain points
Requirements
- 2–3 years' experience in innovation, project development and management, startup/tech engagement, or enterprise emerging-tech use cases
- Strong stakeholder management, relationship building, EQ, communication, storytelling, and negotiation
- High AQ, tenacity, bias to action; comfortable with ambiguity; structured, strategic thinker
- Proven delivery of cross-functional and external-facing projects across levels
- Background in science, engineering, business, or tech preferred
- Preferred: exposure to startup ecosystems/accelerators/open innovation; familiarity with agile experimentation/design thinking/lean startup; AI-native (uses AI/GenAI/Agentic AI from planning to execution)
