Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing cost estimates for offshore engineering projects, including FPSO/module upgrades, offshore platform/FSRUs/FSUs conversions, and fabrication works.

  • Engage with vendors and subcontractors to collect quotations, clarify scope, and verify pricing data.
  • Assist in the preparation of detailed cost summaries and comparative pricing reports.
  • Analyze past project data and lessons learned to improve estimating accuracy and competitiveness in future tenders.
  • Assist in reviewing contractual and commercial sections of tender documents to identify key cost implications and compliance requirements.
  • Help ensure that cost estimates align with commercial expectations, contractual terms, and client specifications.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 1–3 years of experience in cost estimating, quantity surveying, or project support in a marine and/or offshore environment.
  • Familiarity with ship repair, offshore platform fabrication, or rig repair processes is preferred.
  • Basic ability to read technical drawings and project specifications.
  • Detail-oriented with good analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Able to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
