Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver end-to-end technology due diligence across a target's technology landscape - including proprietary software, enterprise technology, data, infrastructure, cybersecurity, architecture, and delivery capability – identifying key risks, value drivers, investment needs, and operational implications.
  • Evaluate proprietary software and product technology, assessing feature set, roadmap, architecture, R&D processes, development practices, scalability, security posture, technical debt, and team capabilities to determine the product's ability to support future growth and investment.
  • Advise on technology and cybersecurity in separations and integrations, from pre-sign to post-close – mapping dependencies in carve-outs, identifying integration synergies, shaping Day-1 readiness, defining interim and target-state operating models, assessing execution risks, and guiding TSA structures and readiness.
  • Conduct rapid value-creation diagnostics, identifying operational bottlenecks, performance gaps, and cost-optimization opportunities, and developing actionable plans to accelerate benefit capture.

Requirements

  • Basic or strong understanding of modern software concepts (e.g., software development lifecycle, product management, cloud infrastructure, software architecture, APIs, data platforms, etc.), enterprise IT environments (ERPs, CRMs, HRISs, etc.), and cybersecurity principles.
  • Demonstrated experience analysing complex business or technical problems and synthesizing insights for senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to apply a commercial and deal-focused mindset to assess technology risks, investment needs, operating models, and scalability.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex technology topics clearly to non-technical executives (CIO/CTO/CEO, investors, deal teams).
  • A self-starter mindset with a commitment to learning, continuous improvement, and delivering exceptional client service.
  • A bachelor's or higher degree in Business Administration, Economics, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fields.
  • Transactions / M&A experience.
  • Client facing experience from a professional services background.
