Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Technical Officers (TOs) to carry out Preventive Maintenance (PM) / Corrective Maintenance (CM) activities on Fare System equipment in SMRT stations.
- Ensure the performance of Fare System equipment in revenue operations meet the performance targets through effective scheduling of PM programs and co-ordination of CM activities.
- Supervise and provide technical support to Fare System TOs in the maintenance of Fare System equipment.
- Ensure that job records for CM / PM activities by TOs are transcribed into Maintenance Management System upon completion of maintenance work.
- Conduct Continual Technical Learning and safety briefing during team meeting.
- Check and ensure adequate spares in the home office to support the PM/CM work.
- Assist EMM in compiling information required for equipment performance report.
- Ensure safe and proper housekeeping in the home office and locker rooms used by FSM staff.
- Ensure all quality and safety procedures are complied with.
- Assist EMM during the T&C stage of any new station opening or new equipment testing by contractor / LTA.
- Carry out any other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by Line Manager / Engineer.
- Actively lead / participate in Kaizen Project to enhance and streamline maintenance processes and equipment performance.
Requirements
- Polytechnic Diploma in Electronic or Electrical Engineering, or FSM Technical Officer with more than 6 years of working in the related areas in FSM Branch's operations and who has good performance result.
- Working experience in electronic servicing industries.
