Key Responsibilities
- Drive product yield improvement, test time reduction, and quality enhancement for assigned products.
- Develop, validate, and optimize ATE test programs for new product introductions (NPI) and high-volume manufacturing (HVM).
- Analyze test data to identify yield limiters, test escapes, and performance outliers.
- Collaborate with design, test, and manufacturing teams to resolve product-related issues.
- Support customer returns and failure analysis to drive root cause and corrective actions.
- Define and implement test hardware (load boards, probe cards) requirements.
- Monitor and report product health metrics including yield, test time, and quality KPIs.
- Participate in design reviews to ensure testability and manufacturability of new products.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Physics.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in semiconductor product engineering or related field.
- Strong knowledge of ATE platforms (e.g., Teradyne, Advantest) and test program development.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as JMP, Spotfire, or Python.
- Experience with yield analysis, statistical process control (SPC), and design of experiments (DOE).
- Understanding of semiconductor device physics and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
- Experience with test hardware design (load boards, probe cards) is a plus.
- Knowledge of DFT (Design for Test) methodologies is preferred.
