Key Responsibilities

  • Own all technical issues relating to the product/process, including product and process yield rates.
  • Perform process trials, analyze data, and produce comprehensive write-ups on the trials.
  • Prepare technical specifications for the purchase and upgrading of relevant equipment.
  • Implement New Product Introductions (NPIs), new coating, and welding processes into production.
  • Generate detailed Work Instructions and Operating Procedures.
  • Ensure all relevant processes comply with quality requirements, conducting investigations and implementing corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to improve equipment utilization, labor efficiency, and reduce operating costs through Lean initiatives.
  • Conduct Risk Assessments and ensure processes comply with Environmental, Health, and Safety Regulations and Policies.

Requirements

  • Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering from a recognized university.
  • Proven experience in manufacturing or production background is beneficial.
  • Strong operational and engineering skills with high maturity and competency in achieving KPIs.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex manufacturing processes on the shop floor.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply technical experience and analytical thinking to solve complicated manufacturing problems.
  • Ability to act as a resource and mentor for less experienced colleagues.
