Key Responsibilities
- Execute Clear to Build and Clear to Launch processes and Standard Work for global parts transport, tracking, and delivery.
- Serve as the transportation escalation point, identifying and resolving emerging international and domestic delivery issues and risks.
- Create and implement bespoke logistics solutions to meet expedited transportation requirements within a complex global network.
- Manage customs-related requirements for international shipments, ensuring compliance with global regulations and minimizing delays.
- Lead cross-functional projects to optimize internal processes for global supply chain fulfillment and gain visibility into logistics strategy.
- Leverage supplier metrics to drive process improvements, enhancing cycle time, quality, productivity, and service capability.
- Enable operations teams by preparing operational and financial performance data using global transportation digital tools.
- Contribute to the transportation quality program by managing long-term process improvements with suppliers regarding defect resolution and CAPA implementation.
- Plan and implement operating practice changes that reduce overall operating expenses while maintaining high service levels.
Requirements
- Strong, hands-on logistics operational experience in both international and U.S. domestic transportation.
- Deep understanding of global customs requirements, including documentation, classification, and clearance processes for international shipments.
- Expertise in Root Cause Analysis and Corrective & Preventive Action (RCCA/CAPA).
- Advanced MS Excel skills.
- Proven ability to maintain schedules and meet deliverables in a fast-paced, highly dynamic environment.
- Demonstrated experience managing performance gaps within a metrics-based environment, including data compilation and analysis.
- Strong customer-centric service approach while balancing policy and transportation objectives.
