Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for planning, scheduling, and implementing new tool installations, relocations, and chamber retrofits.
- Own and develop equipment maintenance procedures and schedules.
- Work with the process owners to develop, prioritize and manage projects to reduce defects, improve availability and find solutions to ongoing problems; and identify, quantify, and qualify cost reduction projects.
- Serve as the liaison between facilities, vendor reps, and shift personnel.
- Interact with process owners and tool vendors to develop new hardware, software, and technologies related to process and hardware performance improvements.
- Write and publish reports that summarize equipment availability improvements and cost reduction projects.
- All team members are required to complete their learning items within the stipulated time frame.
- For business process and/or Quality Management System (QMS) component that one is responsible or accountable for: ensuring the QMS/business process that is effective and conforms to requirements; ensuring that the processes are delivering their intended outputs; reporting on QMS/business process performance and opportunities for improvement to management; ensuring the promotion of internal and external customer focus throughout the organization; ensuring the maintenance of the integrity of the QMS/business process when changes are planned and implemented; ensuring customer requirements are met.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in Engineering or Science is required.
- Must be able and willing to work on non-standard working hours (e.g. compressed, 12-hour night shifts).
- Strong analytical, logical, and critical thinking skills.
- Effective communicator, able to collaborate across all levels.
- Growth mindset with a passion for continuous learning.
- Internship or experience in the semiconductor industry is a plus.
- Demonstrated leadership and a track record of impact are highly desirable.
- Interest in and knowledge of the semiconductor industry and Micron is preferred.
